CELPIP is a test called the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program. You can find more information and register for the test at www.celpip.ca
CLB stands for Canadian Language Benchmarks. You can learn more about it at www.language.caÂ
In the PEI PNP Expression of Interest (EOI) system for the Business Impact Category, people interested in applying can earn up to 40 points for their English language skills.
For the PEI PNP Business Impact Category, the minimum English language requirement is a CLB 4.
If you’re taking a language test like CELPIP, make sure you took it within the last 2 years. The CELPIP General test is accepted for the Business Impact Category, but not the CELPIP General LS.
Your overall score for the language test is based on the lowest scores you got in the 4 skills: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.
