Profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of 303 or above meeting the healthcare pathway criteria received the invitation.
On March 19, 2024, Alberta also issued 41 notifications of interest in a dedicated healthcare pathway with a job offer having a CRS score of 304 or above.
Another AAIP draw on March 5, 2024, sent out 34 provincial nomination invitations with a CRS score of 303 or above for dedicated healthcare pathways.
As of February 15, 2024, Alberta has paused the opportunity stream and launched a new Alberta PNP stream for the tourism and hospitality sector.
Previously, on February 20, 2024, AAIP sent out 33 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residency (PR).
This round of invitations targeted Express Entry profiles with a CRS score of 311 or above for dedicated healthcare pathways.
Alberta had a total quota of 9,750 for 2023, out of which 4,875 were set aside for Express Entry profiles.
For 2024, Alberta was expecting notional increases to more than 10,000 nomination allocations, but IRCC kept the quota at 9,750.
Always remember, not all the invited Express Entry candidates accept the nomination, and not everyone is landed within the same year after the invitation, given the longer processing time for PNPs.
